ATPL Instruments and Navigation Aids (Aeroplane)


I The ATPL Instruments and Navigation Aids (Aeroplane) ground course is designed to cover the new syllabus requirements of AC61-7 Appendix III (subject 44), and far more, comprising the modules below.

  •       Air Data Instruments;
  •       Integrated Flight Instrument Systems;
  •       Warning Systems;
  •       Recorder Systems;
  •       Navigation Aids;
  •       FANS(CNS/ATM).

You will be provided with a course workbook, a course textbook and with teaching sessions on each of the course components, including audio-visual presentations, videos, exercises and review questions.  The programme also includes a practice examination based on the ASPEQ exams, which is designed to give you a gauge of your knowledge as at the end of the course and to act as a learning focus tool.

Please note that it is your responsibility to organise your own sitting of the ASPEQ exam.  We recommend you schedule the exam for at least a few days after the end of the course, to give you time to absorb and review the material and to do some practice of the practical aspects of the course.

Cost:   $1,004.37 in 2024.    Includes tuition, textbook (Waypoints PilotBooks Volume 12) and workbook notes.  The ASPEQ exam fee is additional.
